THANK YOU!
Sunday was a great day at Bob Bryant Park in Bastrop.
It was an amazing reminder of what can happen when the American Outlaws community comes together to do good. It was an emotional day of both stories from those who have lost so much, and also the joy in children’s faces upon receiving new Little Feet soccer balls to call their own.
Thank you to everyone who donated soccer balls and other equipment in the runup to the event. Thank you to those who attended, from as far away as DFW, Houston, and AO National HQ. Thank you to Kim and Jackie, who did a huge amount of on the ground work to get the event going. Thank you to the City of Bastrop for supporting the event and the Fire Department for joining us.
You can check out AO’s report of the event, complete with photos from Dan.
Our soccer ball drop was not the end of our work in Bastrop. We were able to see where our Little Feet futsal pitch will be constructed at the park there, so please take a moment to donate a tile to make that project a reality!
